How we approach a garage door
A garage door is the largest moving object in most homes, and the springs that lift it are set to carry its full weight. That fact shapes how we work. Every spring, cable and drum is handled with winding bars, clamps and the patience the job deserves, and the door is always secured before tension is touched.
We measure before we adjust and test the travel afterwards, from the floor to the fully open position. Customers tell us they appreciate knowing the sequence in advance, so we walk through it at the start of every visit. Careful is not slow; it is simply how a heavy door should be treated.
Repair when it makes sense. Replace when it doesn't.
Noise is usually the first complaint and the easiest to trace. Steel rollers rumbling, hinges squeaking, a chain slapping the rail, panels rattling against loose hardware. We go through the door from top to bottom, tighten and lubricate what needs it, and replace the rollers or hinges that have simply worn out. Most doors go quiet again.
